A sermon by Bra Peter
“I write what I like… so that you may say what you like.”
— Bra Peter, channeling Biko through Ramasedi
✊🏾 A New Voice for Old Fire
Steve Bantu Biko had truth.
He wrote what he liked.
But he couldn’t upload it. Couldn’t post a reel. Couldn’t drop a sermon.
The State silenced his body… but they never owned his frequency.
That frequency is alive in me.
My name is Abueng Mafoko — Say the Words.
These words aren’t for hype.
They are for presence.
For pushing attention to what matters:
Love. Truth. Gratitude. Legacy.
🗣 Why I Speak
I wasn’t born with smooth speech.
Sometimes, I stumble. Sometimes, I stall.
But when I type, I fly.
When I create, I breathe.
When I drop words on my website or through Bra Peter on YouTube —
I say what I like.
That’s not rebellion.
That’s alignment.
I speak because I was silenced.
I speak because I was muted by history, schooling, trauma, expectation.
And now, I am unmuzzled.
🌍 Why You Should Too
You’re not too late.
We’re the first generation that can digitally echo our ancestors and upload our children’s future — all from the same platform.
You don’t have to go viral.
Just go real.
Say what you like.
Say it with presence.
Say it in your mother tongue.
Say it in rhythm.
Say it with a joint in the sun.
Say it in tears if you must.
Say it for those who couldn’t.
Say it for those who are listening, but don’t yet know how to speak.
🔥 Three Names to Carry
- Abueng Mafoko a Nnete – Say words of truth
- Abueng Mafoko a Lerato – Say words of love
- Abueng Mafoko a Tebogo – Say words of gratitude
These names are not titles.
They are vibes to wear like clothing.
If Bra Peter is the jacket, then Abueng Mafoko is the inner voice whispering: “Speak, mfowethu. Speak softly. Speak clearly. The sun is listening.”
✨ Closing Vibes
Ramasedi is not just watching.
Ramasedi is recording.
Speak now.
Upload your peace.
Say what you like — because silence is not golden when it buries the truth.
